Unfortunately, the shared bathroom situation was quite challenging. I experienced a lack of privacy as others frequently used it, and sometimes it was not adequately stocked with essentials like toilet paper. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable during warmer evenings, especially considering the noise from outside.

We got great recommendations for restaurants close by that didn't break the bank and we had a lovely meal which was just what we needed. The owners were really kind giving us tips and even let us leave our luggage after check-out for our later train.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of Siena, just a stone's throw from the scenic Piazza del Campo. The family that runs the hotel is incredibly warm and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I appreciated the little details, like having a sink in the room and access to a clean shared bathroom with no wait times during my stay in mid-March. However, the room was quite cold, especially at night, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep. There was an absence of heating, and I woke up several times due to the chill. Also, some amenities felt a bit basic, like the lack of air conditioning, especially given the noise from outside.

albergo tre donzelle had fantastic staff who were super friendly and shared all the tips about the local palio race. the big room was clean with soft, great towels. the breakfast was a highlight, featuring homemade breads, cakes, and a nice selection of meats, cheeses, and fruits. plus, the location was just a short stroll from the main square!

The staff was kind and attentive. I appreciated the comfort of having a sink in my room despite sharing a bathroom. I also liked being able to leave my bags for a later pickup. It made my sightseeing easier. The location was close to the main attractions, which was convenient for a road trip enthusiast like me.
